USA Cycling Race Team

Racing/Century Reimbursement Policy

Funding for reimbursement is dependent upon club funds and individual agreements between riders and the team’s Board of Directors. Any other anticipated race expenses such as out of area travel shall be pre-negotiated with the team’s Board of Directors.

Qualification for Race Reimbursements:

The following requirements apply:

1. Volunteer to work the club race — no exceptions. Note: Qualification lasts one year (one racing season).
2. Wear the current year’s jersey and shorts when competing.
3. Wear the current year’s jersey when accepting awards.
4. Have S2C/BOSCH pb Eliel Cycling or the appropriate team name listed as your team on your racing license.
5. No reimbursements for mid-week, unsanctioned, training races; Did Not Finish/Disqualifications (DNF and DQs); or other non-road/tri-related cycling events.

Limitations:

Total dollar amounts available for reimbursement are dependent on the financial success of the race and the club as a whole. The reimbursement policy may be modified by the Board of Directors. Modifications will be distributed by e-mail. Recreational members are eligible for one century (fun ride) reimbursement, and like the rest of the membership, benefit from all the same equipment sponsorship deals provided to the team members.  Racers, Triathletes, and Recreational riders can only submit for either a sanctioned race or one century (fun ride) reimbursement, not both.

Reimbursement Submission Process:

1. Event Dates that qualify for reimbursement are from January 1 thru September 1.

2. All reimbursement requests shall be turned in no later than 45 days after the event has been completed. To be eligible for reimbursement, you must complete and SUBMIT the reimbursement form below. Multiple events may be submitted at one time as long as they meet the 45 day window.

3. We are now paperless, no checks will be issued. For your convenience, the team only offers Venmo or PayPal for reimbursements. Please specify the appropriate box on the form and include your Venmo or PayPal account user information.

4. Reimbursements will be processed in the order received, but no sooner than the completion of the Tour de Murrieta of the current year.
